DIY Spa Night

Let's face it: we all like feeling a little spoiled. However, we can't always afford it. Thank heavens for at-home products!

To start off, take a relaxing bath or shower. Lock the door, turn on some soft music, and stop worrying about everything women seem to worry about! Pour in some bubbles, turn on the jets, add bath salts; whatever floats your boat. Just make it you.

Once you've soaked up about all you can stand, it's time for a little facial. You don't need an expensive face mask to make you feel good. Most general stores carry cheap face masks in several different varieties. The one I've chosen for tonight is a green tea peel off with squeezed lemon. As a plus, the packages always give me a good laugh.

Once you've applied the mask, it's time to lock in some moisture. Put on your favorite body creme or lotion. I've recently been suffering from the dreaded dry heel. How do I prefer to handle this? Lather up your feet in your choice of lotion/creme; don't rub it completely in. Take some plastic wrap and bundle your feet up. This allows your feet to really keep the moisture in and always helps my cracked heels.

Now this is my favorite part; go cuddle up somewhere and watch your favorite tv show or read your favorite book. It's your time so do what you enjoy most (preferably something relaxing).

Once the mask has dried-and you feel like you've had enough down time-simply remove the plastic wrap, take off the mask, and get on with whatever you were doing! Best of all, it should cost you less than $5!!
