Ready in Five!

I've had several people asking me what I do for my every-day make-up, so here's my quick 5-minute face!

First, you'll want to make sure you have a clean surface. Wash your face with whatever you prefer and gently towel it dry. I always put on some sort of moisturizer after; but that's just me.

Next: Put on chap-stick. Get it on now so you're lips can be ready for lipstick or gloss if you choose to add it on later.

Below are the products I generally use every day.

I always start out with my blush. I use Maybelline's Dream Bouncy Blush in a coral hue.

Apply the blush from the apple of your cheek all the way up your cheek bone (as pictured below).

Next, select a lighter color of eyeshadow that compliments your skin and eyes. I used a bronze hue set from Mabelline (my eyes are hazel).

Take the lightest color and apply it to your arch.

Now take the medium color (in this case the gold) and apply it to your lid.

With this third color (the bronze) apply it to the crease in your lid and the outer corner of your eye.

It should create a shadow effect in the corners, like so.

Now we will be moving onto eye-liner. I've used a lot of different brands and types of eye-liner, and I have to say my favorite by far is Mary Kay.

Apply your eye-liner to the upper-lid and the lower corner of the waterline.

Last part is mascara. I use two different types here; Younique 3D Lash Mascara for my top Lashes and Maybelline's Falsies for my bottom lashes.

This look can take a little time when you're first starting out; but once you have the hang of it, you can get it done in less than 10 minutes.

Last, but not least, apply your choice of lipgloss or lipstick. I used some cheap stuff I got from
Wal-Mart. Wet N' Wild, I believe? Both in a nude/coral hue.
