I'm one of those people who hates to exercise, but wouldn't mind looking a little thinner. I go on runs every once in awhile and do workout routines occasionally; but nothing that really makes a difference. I was on Pinterest a couple months ago and decided to look up some fitness tips, new routines, etc. I repinned several 30 day challenges, but never got around to actually doing them. A couple weeks later I decided my legs and tummy needed some work so I went to my fitness board and started looking through my 30 day challenges. I eventually put the things I liked on a piece of paper and then created my own 30 day challenge.
Honestly, it was pretty simple. I would switch between the two variations of squats above. This wasn't something that took up a good chunk of my time to do; and it wasn't something that was constantly kicking my butt. It pushed me, but not to the point where I couldn't walk or sit for a week. My legs and core feel entirely different. I didn't think a 30 day challenge would show results so quickly. Seriously, my legs were showing it within 10 days. I highly suggest giving it a try. There are tons of challenges on Pinterest. Plus, the fact that it actually worked gives me the motivation to exercise more consistently. Let me know how it works out for you!
It's actually been a few weeks since I ended this and I am still doing 50-100 squats a day (just so my "hard work" doesn't go to waste!) I also added doing 100 calf raises a day (pictured below). I think i'll be putting together a 30 day arm & back challenge soon so I will keep you guys posted on that!
I love this idea! Can you explain some of these exercises? I'm not sure what all the crunch varieties are!
ReplyDeleteSure thing! I'll put some pictures up tomorrow morning!
DeleteJust started today. I had a baby girl 2 months qgo and I'm not back doen to what I used to be. So i decided it would be a good time in my life to start working out. Lol. Was so motivated I did 75 squats instead of 50. However my legs are killing me. I can do this!
ReplyDeleteAhhh I love it! This workout is awesome. It really does show results and I was skeptical as to whether or not it would! Keep us updated on how it's going!
