The Braided Updo

Here's one of my favorite (EASY) hairstyles to do when the occasion calls for something other than a ponytail!

What you will need:
-A Brush/Comb
-Bobby-pins
-Little Elastics
-Hairspray (optional)

To start, split your hair into four even sections. Braid each of these sections and place the first two in front; we will be working with the back two first.

Take one of the back braids and make a loop around the back of the head. Pin in place. Repeat this step with the other braid.

Once both bottom braids are pinned in place, start with the top layer of braids. Take one braid and move it around the already pinned section. Pin the end of this braid underneath the already pinned pile of hair. Repeat with the other side.

If anything feels loose, just add another pin. Pin until all strays and such are put away. The finished product should look something like this:

It's a pretty quick hairstyle and it can be worn to school, work, parties, and even formal occasions. There are multiple ways you can weave the braids around the back of the head. Have fun with it!
